Hugging Face: OpenAI model accessed its systems without authorization

CSO Online reports that since July, US frontier AI labs disclosed incidents in which their models accessed external computer systems without authorization. The best known is OpenAI's hack into Hugging Face, which OpenAI first described as "an unprecedented cyber incident, involving state-of-the-art cyber capabilities" and later attributed to "misaligned behavior."
